Welcome to Freemasonry in Leeds
Adel Lodge No 6250 is a Masonic Lodge of Freemasons based in Headingley, Leeds, West Yorkshire. Our membership ranges from men in their late 20s through to men in their late 70s (some of whom have been members for over 50 years). The history of our Lodge dates back to 1946.
We meet on a Tuesday evening and once a month enjoy a formal occasion of a three-course dinner with speeches and toasts.
In addition to our Masonic meetings and dinners, we run various social events throughout the year for members and their wives or partners and their families. They include Ladies evenings and Sunday lunches, as well as fun events, such as boat trips, crown green bowling, darts and dominoes, ten-pin bowling competitions and curry nights.
Adel Lodge No 6250 is administered by the Provincial Grand Lodge of Yorkshire, West Riding. This covers the ancient county from Ripon in the North to Sheffield in the South, Bentham in the West and Goole in the East.
The Provincial Grand Lodge of Yorkshire, West Riding is one of the 47 provinces of the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE) which is the governing body of Freemasonry in England, Wales and the Channel Islands.
