Freemason Leeds

Report on the Meeting of Adel Lodge – Tuesday 2 June 2026

At its meeting on Tuesday 2 June 2026, the Lodge presented a full demonstration of the Ceremony of Initiation. Several officers took part, each delivering their work with confidence, accuracy, and a clear dedication to maintaining the highest standards of ritual.

The Lodge was particularly grateful to W Bro M Wharton of Pilgrim Lodge No. 7728, who kindly volunteered to take the part of the candidate. His willingness to assist exemplified the strong bonds of cooperation and mutual support among Lodges, and his participation enabled the ceremony to be performed in its entirety.

The demonstration itself was of an exceptional standard. Every officer involved displayed excellent preparation and a smooth, assured delivery. The ceremony flowed seamlessly from one stage to the next, reflecting both the individual commitment of the officers and the collective pride of the Lodge in its ritual work.

A Grand Officer in attendance offered warm and unsolicited praise, remarking that this was the best Ceremony of Initiation he had witnessed for some time. His comments were received with appreciation and served as a fitting acknowledgement of the effort and skill shown by all who took part.

Adel Lodge extends its sincere thanks to W Bro Wharton for his valued support, to the officers for their exemplary performance, and to all brethren who attended and contributed to a memorable evening.
