Charitable Work by Worshipful Master at Adel Lodge

Worshipful Master, Abdul Thomas. Adel Lodge, Leeds

It was a tremendous honour for our Worshipful Master, Abdul Thomas, to receive nominations for two awards at the Yorkshire Choice Awards, held on Friday 5 June 2026 at Elland Road.

Although he did not receive the awards on this occasion, the evening was nevertheless a truly memorable one, marked by pride, inspiration, and deep admiration for the many remarkable individuals recognised for their selfless service. To be counted among hundreds of nominees and deserving winners, each of whom gives so much to society through dedication and voluntary effort, was an honour in itself.

Abdul’s double nomination stands as a fitting tribute to his unwavering commitment, distinguished leadership, and devoted service to others. It is a recognition in which all who know him may take great pride, and one that reflects the esteem in which he is so richly held.
