Fundraiser for St Gemma’s Hospice. Adel Lodge, Leeds

On Tuesday, 14 July 2026, W Bro Eric Denton, his wife Teresa, and W Bro Jim Reece had the pleasure of presenting St Gemma’s Hospice with a cheque for over £3,500, generously raised by the brethren of Adel Lodge. The presentation took place in the beautiful gardens of St Gemma’s and was arranged specially ahead of the evening reception held to thank the many individuals and organisations who have supported the Hospice’s vital work.

W Bro Reece remained for the formal acknowledgements and listened as heartfelt tributes were paid to the groups and volunteers who have given their time, energy, and commitment to fundraising for this most deserving and deeply valued cause. He reported that the occasion was both humbling and memorable, leaving a lasting impression.
